Het Depot is looking for a full-time production manager (x/f/m) with logistical skills

Het Depot organizes about 150 concerts per year in its own venue, along with a few festivals (M-IDZOMER, and&, COOL Festival), and is therefore a well known player within the Belgian music scene. Apart from organizing concerts we work hard on stimulating musical talent and optimizing performing opportunities for artists.

Job description

• As a production manager you are part of the team Production & Logistics. You will be responsible for the follow up what our promotors book.
• You will advance the concerts smoothly and with a high level of efficiency (budget, planning, settlement).
• You are the go to person on a concert for all staf and crew: nothing happens without your approval. The safety of the artist, the audience, our volunteers and your co-workers is important to you.
• You will keep pushing the level of production to a higher level. Your follow up of an artist contract is impeccable, as you make sure all the necessary information goes from booking agent & band to tech crew, catering staff,…and back.
• You look out for innovative and sustainable solutions, and will always keep an eye on cost-benefit.
• You will organize and control the technical production supplies (inventory, stock mgmt, purchase).
• You‘re a people’s person, who deals with a lot of people, and does so in a friendly way. You will guide the stagehands and some of the volunteers.
• You and your colleagues make everybody feel welcome (volunteers & public). Het Depot wants to be an openminded space where everyone feels right at home.

• The one who feels at home on a stage and in a rock & roll environment.
• You know what’s going on on stage: technical riders (audio, lights,…) are an easy read to you.
• You don’t mind working nights and weekends. You know how to organize your own work.
• You know that being prepared means avoiding stress. You enjoy making up tight schedules and can make clear arrangements.
• Meeting people gives you energy. You are a people’s person: language, gender, orientation, origin, age and social background are no boundaries.
• When things seem to go wrong, you never hesitate to interact. You know how to address people and will always look for solutions.
• Your eagerness and attitude are worth more than any diploma.
