Job offer: Het Depot is looking for "flexis" to strenghten their bar and events team

Acting as a hub within the Flemish music sector, Het Depot combines a solid concert operation with continuous promotion of talent and maximisation of stage opportunities. 

Every year, Het Depot organises more than 180 concerts. Het Depot also supports festivals such as M-IDZOMER, COOL Festival, And& and Het Groot Verlof.

Job description 

• As a hospitality flexi, you support the person in charge of hospitality & events at Het Depot. 

• Together with the person in charge of catering & events and your colleague flexis (3 to 4 persons) you take care of the catering during the seasonal operation of Het Depot on concert evenings  

• You continue to build a dynamic and visitor-oriented operation  

• Operationally, you are responsible from A to Z for the catering or events part on 3 to 4 evenings per month  

• You welcome the volunteers and participate in the start-up of the shift for which you made sure everything is ready earlier in the evening 

• You are the point of contact for all volunteers, colleagues and visitors to Het Depot during the evening shift 

• You cooperate and make sure that everything is available for the bar team to ensure a successful shift 

• You have access to the office area of Het Depot and are therefore able to follow up on tokens, material and any extra communication  

  ou ensure that the bar is spotless at the end of each event and after each event you make a short report with points for attention for the responsible catering and events team at Het Depot  

• You feel involved and are therefore willing to help guarantee the safety of the event

Who are you?

• You are looking for a permanent flexi challenge for three to four days a month, preferably always on the same day of the week 

• In combination with your regular job, you can be present at Het Depot on your regular evening from 6 p.m. to 1.30 a.m.  

• You have catering experience and can cope well with some healthy tension 

• You have a great affinity with the concert and event world  

  You enjoy working with volunteers and feel that they are the driving force behind the hospitality operations at Het Depot

• Moreover, you can occasionally attend a free concert and eat and drink for free on the nights you work
