What-U-On-About!? is a drum & bass concept based in Leuven, founded by Tesla, Speedwagon, Fuzz, Teezer and MC Mota. Dive into top-notch drum & bass, electrifying vibes and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

ENEI (UK)

Originally from St. Petersburg, Enei is a producer known for his dark, technical sound and precision-engineered approach to club music. Emerging in the mid-2000s with releases on Fokuz, Blu Saphir, Cyanide and Citrus, he quickly became one of Russia’s standout electronic artists.

His debut album Machines cemented his global reputation, earning support from Goldie, Andy C, DJ Hype and others.

In November 2025, Enei entered a new chapter with his fourth studio album "Countdown", showcasing a more intricately sculpted sound and marking one of his most standout works to date.

SKEPTICAL (UK)

As a DJ and producer whose natural passion for music evolved into a full-blown production habit, Skeptical has been responsible for some of the most damaging yet delicate tracks in modern drum & bass. Since the release of "Blue Eyes EP" on Ingredients Records in 2011, he has delivered a string of standout releases on respected imprints such as "Soul:r" and "Exit Records". Exit became home to ‘Marka’, his collaboration with Dub Phizix and Strategy, which became a DJ favourite worldwide and amassed millions of streams.

In 2018 he released his award-nominated debut album "Enjoy This Trip", followed by "Fibonacci Sequence" in 2019. That same year, he self-released "Musket", again heavily supported across the scene. He has remixed artists including Jubei, Sizzla, Zed Bias, Mefjus, Break and Shy FX and was voted ‘Best Alternative Artist’ at the 2017 Drum & Bass Awards UK. Skeptical’s DJ sets have taken him across Europe, the Americas, Canada and Australasia, performing in leading clubs and festivals worldwide.

SIMULA (UK)

Simula has been writhing around in the depths of electronic music since 2015, and continues to push his gritty and dark sound forward into the void. Combining elements of jungle, jump up and a variety of styles from the soundsystem culture, Simula pushes forward his own flavour of evil drum & bass.

MC NICE

Being the host MCs at some of the biggest stages and festivals in Belgium, MC NICE has become one of the leading voices of the bass-music scene in his home country. With his short bars and hyper lyrics, Nice adds pure energy to the sound! Inspired by some old school Renegade Hardware mixtapes, he started writing lyrics around the millennium years. These days he’s rippin’ up stages alongside some of the biggest and best DJ of the drum’n’bass and dubstep scene.

MC Mota

For over a decade, Belgium-based MC Mota has been a powerful and consistent presence at major bass events across Europe and beyond. As resident host at Rampage and Liquicity, his versatility and crowd control have earned him appearances at leading festivals and venues including Tomorrowland, Fabric London, Let It Roll, ADE, Sziget, Hospitality and Sun & Bass. Combining sharp lyricism, vocal range and a strong sense of timing, he has become one of the most in-demand MCs in the scene, performing alongside artists such as Andy C, Netsky, Noisia, Wilkinson and Camo & Krooked.

LAVANCE

Lavance is a Belgian drum & bass producer and DJ known for creating deep, intricate, and atmospheric soundscapes, often blending soulful elements with heavy, tech-funk basslines. With a career spanning several years, he has established himself as a respected producer in the scene, with notable releases on labels such as Ciritical, Overview Music, 1985 Music, Onyx Recordings, Skankandbass, and Celsius Recordings.

R.AVA

R.AVA, raised on drum & bass and shaped by its roots, a lifelong junglist. Blending melodic selections with heavy basslines and deep respect voor de golden olden tracks. She delivers her sets with high-energy & a big ass smile.

WHAT-U-ON-ABOUT?!

WHAT-U-ON-ABOUT?! is a Louvain based quality drum & bass concept organised by Tesla, Speedwagon, Fuzz and Teezer. The first 5 years, MC Mota was part of their collective as well. They are a dj-collective, organize quality events and host a podcast. On a regular basis we come up with a funky fresh drum & bass line up with residents and guest dj’s in Leuven, Belgium.

Over the past few years their parties grew from a limited capacity but cosy event to one of the major players in the Belgian drum’n’bass scene. Right now they are throwing sold out events in Louvains finest venue: Het Depot. Over the years they had international guests like Shy FX, Mefjus, S.P.Y, Black Sun Empire, Ed Rush, DJ Mary, Halogenix, DJ Hazard, D-Bridge, Lenzman, Aphrodite, Skeptical, Serum… over.

Quality drum & bass, big vibes, friendly atmosphere and dreadful hangovers are keywords for WHAT-U-ON-ABOUT?! events.
